How long do you thing you can live without TV?
I think I can live without TV for a month
Work in groups. Compare and contrast the photos (A and B) which show homeless people in Britain. Include the following points.
• Where homeless people usually live.
• Why people may become homeless.
• How you think we can help homeless people.
Both pictures A&B show the people who are sleeping. In the first picture, the man is sleeping on the street with a blanket. In picture B, I can see there are a lot of people that are sleeping in the same room, but the room is quite small. Looking at both, I can see that they don't feel comfortable while sleeping. And I guess they are homeless.
Homeless people may live on the streets, in parks, in shelters, or in temporary housing.
People may become homeless due to a variety of factors, including unemployment, poverty, mental illness, addiction, domestic abuse, or a lack of affordable housing.
We can help homeless people by providing affordable housing, access to healthcare and social services, job training and employment opportunities, and supportive programs to address underlying issues such as addiction or mental illness. Additionally, donating to and volunteering with organizations that support the homeless can also make a difference.
